Position Summary

Alora Hospital and Surgical Account Manager - will lead sales in specified key markets including but not limited to: Hospitals, Ambulatory Surgery Centers, Associated Integrated Delivery Networks, and Out-Patient Procedural Suites across multiple surgical specialists.

Key Responsibilities and Objectives

  • Assess client’s needs, communicate with and persuade targeted doctors to appropriately prescribe our products utilizing effective selling skills
  • Utilize established relationships to accelerate company’s uptake and usage within all corporate accounts
  • Work with sales team to develop strategies and implement brand strategies to ensure a consistent marketing message
  • Profile assigned accounts and establish relationships with clinical, operational, and C-suite customers.  Create a clear road map for success within the key markets including established  relationships with key opinion leaders
  • Identification of key decision makers within accounts, understand hospital access protocols, formulary process for specific accounts, current pain management protocols, Multimodal approach, ERAS protocol to position products for use
  • Attend sales meetings, conference calls, training sessions and symposium circuits
  • Plan work schedules and weekly and monthly timetables with the area sales team or discuss future targets with the area sales manager

Experience

  • Minimum 8 years of successful account-based selling, medical sales representative, or similar role with account management experience
  • Experience in business-to-business selling include gaining commitment and pulling thru sales via contracts and distribution
  • History of interfacing with system executives and building advocacy for appropriate product access and use
  • Working with integrated healthcare networks
  • Successful track record in sales with both live and virtual selling approaches
  • Experience with purchasing committees, success with getting final approvals for purchase
  • Experience with a REMS (risk evaluation mitigation system) program
  • Experience working with national/regional/state/local medical societies

Additional information:

  • Travel – approximately 40%
